The goal
One place for my projects and articles that is cheap to run, easy to update, and comfortable to read in any of twelve languages, including right-to-left ones.
How it’s built
- One app, one container. Pages are generated ahead of time and served by a small Node server. There is no separate frontend, backend, or database to pay for.
- Content lives in the repository. Each article or project is a Markdown file per language. Pushing to the main branch publishes it.
- Graceful translations. If a piece isn’t translated yet, the English version is shown with a short note.
- Self-hosted fonts and no third-party scripts, so it loads quickly everywhere.
